Dossier Completed, Again

Well, my completed dossier was sent to Honduras today. The new Honduran administration wanted a couple of things added to my previous dossier (sent last May). So, almost one year later, it is now complete? I sure hope so. Mine is only the second re-completed dossier sent by my agency, so again, we'll be the guinea pigs, and see if Honduras is ready to start matching kids with families. Let's hope for some more good news soon!

So glad your dossier is going to be there with ours! Our just arrived last night. Here's praying yours makes just as quick & safe journey as ours did and they don't just sit :)!

Adoption Timeline

7/17/12 First Waiting Number Received (#76)- This is my spot in line for a referral. This number will change as I get closer to the front of the line.
4/17/12 Dossier Complete and sent to Honduras for the second time, just 2 and a half weeks shy of the anniversary of my first dossier being sent
3/16/12 Dossier Reviewed- New Honduras administration asks for reference letters to be redone for all families, but everything else is dossier is fine...progress, finally!
11/11/11 Delay- Honduran Department that is in charge of adoptions undergoes "reorganizing" to ensure that everything is proper and legal.
9/7/11 Psych Report sent to Honduras after a 3 month delay
7/22/11 Honduras decides that now I must make 2 trips, up to 6 weeks apart
6/7/11 Delay-Honduras adds Psychologist Evaluation
5/5/11 Completed Dossier Sent to Honduras
10/6/10 Application Sent to Agency
